TAETEA at Kunming Airport

Tea drinking has become a mainstream way for modern people to relax, whether it is to spend a leisurely time or to take a moment to relax. With the revival of Chinese culture, Chinese tea has returned to the vision of mass consumers and become an important ingredient in modern life style.

As a representative brand of Chinese tea, TAETEA- is also actively exploring and excavating the possibility of renewing traditional tea culture. Integrating classic Pu 'er tea elements into daily life, it tries to define a fast and fashionable modern tea lifestyle with young consumers.

Terminal store as an important medium for brand and consumer communication, how to use space to convey brand value appeal, brand concept and cultural spirit becomes extremely important. TAETEA- brand commissioned Blooming Design to create Dayi tea experience space. The project is located at Gate 28 of Kunming Changshui International Airport. It is a new attempt of Dayi tea brand to combine the characteristics of place and times.

Based on the 80-year history of TAETEA- brand culture, combined with the aesthetic preferences and consumption habits of modern urbanites, the space redefines the visual style and functional experience of the space. The overall design of the space is dark red, like the color of Pu 'er tea soup, thick and clear. It stands out in many retail stores.

In order to meet the different needs of waiting customers in the fast-paced airport environment, we have designed different experience functions, including an exhibition area for tea gifts for quick consumption, an area for tea makers to enjoy tea, and a leisure and social area for waiting.

TAETEA- Court is a relatively independent experience area in the space. The open tea bar design enables professional tea makers to enjoy the tea making process with a sense of appreciation and ceremony.

Each cup of tea has the residual warmth of the handmade tea, creating a positive atmosphere for communication between the brand and customers. Let young consumers re-understand a long history of traditional brand to follow the other side of the era.

In the space, a large area of natural breathable red soil, with delicate and warm copper, embellished with natural raw logs, completely abandon decoration and luxuriance, presenting a high degree of real and simple natural beauty.

Bring consumers back to nature from an urban environment. The strong conflict between city and nature allows consumers to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for a moment, feel the time slipping away quietly in the quiet, and place themselves in an experience environment with great temperament of The Times, which brings more inspiration and inspiration to consumers.
