The Berkeley London, designed by André Fu and his design team AFSO. His two special suites were inspired by his appreciation of the freestanding glass houses that symbolized the golden age of modernism. The two-bedroom grand pavilion combines space with calm and modern design, surrounded on three sides by glass, and the bright and airy suites allow guests to wake up to expansive views of London and Belgravia. On the terrace, a chic open-air fire pit is designed as a central focal point for relaxation and socializing.

With two extraordinary glass house suites, exuding modern luxury, he experimented with textures and colours to create hallowed places of serenity and comfort. This experiential visual narrative, influenced by traditional English sentiments, is combined with relaxed modern expression.

The main living room features AFSO shades of Burgundy, light emerald green and mineral grey, with small brass chandeliers reminiscent of London's iconic street lights. At the other end of the entrance corridor is the guest suite, an ideal place for multigenerational travel.

Here, there are two spacious suites, each with a large terrace and glass room. The 2,300-square-foot, two-bedroom Crescent Pavilion features soft gold fabrics, tufted carpets, wood panels, rock-glass chandeliers and Agnes Martin prints. This effect is reinforced by the exquisite views from the terrace and views of St Paul's Church.

At the far end of the hall, the two-bedroom Grand Pavilion is decorated with an Asian-inspired mash-up of lacquerwork, green silk, hand-sewn wall panels, antique brass lamps and hand-gilded glass screens. Meanwhile, bartenders at Marcus Waring's kitchen and the hotel's Blue Bar can be dialed on speed dial, giving in-room dining options a small boost.
