We are a "design grocery store", focusing on commercial space and artistic scene design in various fields.
We are a group of "hot-blooded creative star people", giving each space due color and temperament.
We are not picky about our customers, we only care about their taste.
We have no set trap, only focus on customized.
We don't chase awards, we only chase functional aesthetics.
We set no limits on ourselves and seek only breakthroughs.

Yinji: Young designers are the mainstay of design in the circle. How did you start your design path? What do you want for your future?
Li: when I was in elementary school to do an interior designer, often use some old stuff around old furniture into a new furniture or decorations (such as broken small refrigerator, paint and converted into small shelf, old tires and converted into a tea table, glass mesa vinyl disc into a cupboard door handles, etc.), so the university provided the university entrance exam this time also only choose the professional interior design. For my future, I hope to grow up with my team mates and create more Spaces that are loved by everyone.

Yinji: Although Nanjing is the ancient capital of six dynasties, its design is very young and has gathered a group of energetic young designers. What do you think about the future of design in Nanjing?
Li: In recent years, I have come into contact with a lot of young and excellent designers in Nanjing, and I have seen their enthusiasm to try and make breakthroughs. They also communicate and learn from each other privately. I hope that the designers in Nanjing are not limited to the local design projects in Nanjing, but also can step out of Nanjing, get in touch with more high-quality projects in China, and show their talents. I also hope that like-minded designers in Nanjing will have the opportunity to get together and create some influential and driving projects.

Yinji: What's so special about your studio called Turing Design?
Li: I hope to explore more innovative points in design and try to explore diversified, multi-dimensional and cross-boundary design.

Yinji: Noticing that your heroes are Tadao Ando and Gaudi, their designs are so different, why do you like both of them?
Li: I admire Tadao Ando's rigorous and orderly use of design and materials. He is also a rational designer. And Gaudi's works reveal the infinite possibility of creativity, which is the perceptual and artistic side that designers need to have in their creation. We often want to be both rational and emotional when we design.Yinji: How do you keep a young heart in your design and life?
Li: Interior design is a special kind of complex. It's both life and art. A good designer should first of all be a living person, which is my opinion all the time. New experience is especially important.
In addition to my daily desk work, I also have a wide range of hobbies, such as basketball, skateboarding, etc. I have been with you since I was a child and I can't give it up. Even though I am busy, I always insist on it. Photography has always been persistent, every day the machine, can record and capture design inspiration, looking for moments of beauty, I will be very happy. From taste to practice, coffee is the bridge for customers to find me to do business design at first. Travel, on the other hand, gives me the best way to get creative inspiration.
Designers often struggle to balance work and family. My method is efficient and reasonable time planning, usually from morning to noon, I will arrange the project report, on-site docking, and in the afternoon, I will communicate with the team and sort out the plan in hand. In the evening, I insist to go home and have dinner with my family and children, and then continue to work overtime to make the plan after the children sleep. Don't socialize outside of work on weekdays, and don't socialize to make sure you have at least one day free every weekend to be with your family and kids.
