Founded in 2013 by Mr. Wang Chao, NNS Design focuses on the field of space art design. It starts from Beijing and extends to Shanghai, Shenzhen and other places. For a long time for domestic and foreign large real estate developers, hotels, commercial space to provide a full range of interior design solutions. NNS Design always adheres to the design concept of unlimited design and boundless creativity, and is committed to building an international first-class design brand.Yinji: Young designers are the mainstay of design in the circle. How did you start your design path? What do you want for your future?
Wang: I was attracted by the charm of design. I chose to major in design in university and I want to learn more about it. During my reading period, I have seen many outstanding design works. From the different designs of the East and the West, the different indoor relations and the different sensory experiences brought by different Spaces, I have more realized the infinite charm and infinite possibilities of design. Whether it is the divine work of nature or the works of art created by man, design can convey multiple dimensions of information to people, so they become more obsessed with design.
In the future, I hope to interpret different forms of emotional expression through more works, so that works can become a medium. Through this medium, all the people who have been exposed to the works can experience the emotional expression in the works, so as to inspire them to use them flexibly in different fields and meet the demands of some practical functions. At the same time, I also hope to lead more people to shine on the road of design with my long-term design accumulation and experience, so as to contribute value to the society and build a better world together.
Yinji: Why did you choose to develop in Beijing? Do you like the culture of old Beijing?
Wang: One reason I chose Beijing is that I am from the north and I am closer to Beijing geographically. Another reason is really like the culture of Beijing. There are many characteristic cultures in Beijing, among which courtyard culture is the representative one. On the majestic atmosphere of the Forbidden City, there is a full of human interest courtyard. This kind of design, to some extent, is also the embodiment of northern character, there are a lot of majestic atmosphere, the lake sense of expression. In fact, many designers are idealists, but some are not good at language expression. Like me, there are also many designers who like to use design language to convey their ideas about the world. I think the courtyard culture in Beijing is also more suitable for people of our kind, and more conducive for us to communicate with others.
Yinji: You chose to position NNS in the field of space art design. What do you think?
Wang: NNS is targeting the space art design field. We want to create a changeable design impression. We hope that the design of our team will be unlimited and adapt to the changes of The Times, rather than becoming a commercial or rigid model. We hope it like a baby, always keep curiosity and sensitivity to things, happy to do everything, do every space; Hopefully it can accommodate different Spaces, different color relationships, different projects and different challenges.
For the whole field of space art design, no matter it is a list of lines or a curved design, we lay more emphasis on studying the emotional experience conveyed by design works in different space forms. We think that design is to express a kind of emotion first, and then to think and adopt a space design method corresponding to this kind of emotion.Yinji: How do you see the relationship between space and art?
Wang: I think the existence of space is art, whether it is a "regular" space, or a flexible space, or an alien space. What is art? Art is not something that can be explained by representation. We cannot define a space design. It is art. In this broad sense, what kind of space is a good space? I think a good space design, a very important feeling is whether it has artistic fan. If it is a space with practical value, but also can bring different aesthetic feelings, strong spiritual impact such a space, it is an artistic space.
Yinji: Your projects are mainly in the real estate field. How do you strike a balance between design and business?
Wang: Yes, our main work is in real estate. Fundamentally speaking, the design we always want to do is not a design with only artistic value, we hope that our design is close to people, can convey information or interact with people. This kind of interaction not only means that the work can be viewed by people, but also means that we use our design to form an interactive relationship with our clients and the people we serve. Man is a social animal, and one of his most important needs is to communicate. As a designer, or as a design team, we use the medium of space design to accomplish this communication.
The relationship between design and business is not a zero-sum game, it can also be a win-win relationship. In fact, many requirements of business attributes are also a positive feedback to the design. When business design changes because of our persistence, this is another way to prove that we are successful in the path of service and design. Of course, in the process of design, we should also maintain the designer's professionalism and objectivity, adhere to our design pursuit. We hope to complete the design work through professional design ability, and truly provide excellent service and help for the client.
