Adam Jordan graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008 with a Master in Architecture and received his architectural license in 2014. His work has been recognized at both local and national levels and he was named a“Curbed Young Gun”in 2014.
Adam Jordan considers himself a creative person throughout his life ,and he is always just preferred to create things as well as painting and sketching. He alludes to the pared-back utility of the greats that inspire him, namely French modernists Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé. His designs revel in hard edges and perpendicular lines, there's a warmth to them.
Adam Jordan is honed his aesthetic, one that strives for the "crisp clean lines" and "straight-edge" feel of modern architecture, but with materials that have a history and a patina—"blackened moulded steel," for instance, or "lime-washed plaster." His buildings often use rustic wood flooring or shingle-siding indoors. "A lot of times modern architecture is sterile and cold, he strive perfection, but he like the little imperfections，even though modern architecture is boring. He said his dream was to design an ideal house for him and his wife.
