Halleroed is a Stockholm studio. Unlike most interior designers, Halleröd only designs retail spaces and boutiques to create a space that tempts passers-by. Halleroed's design has no chaotic colors, but rather his iconic style through natural stone, large wooden finishes and geometric forms.

Christian Halleroed began his career in furniture design, and when his minimalist design was seen by Acne Studio, he designed the furniture in the store. Soon after, his design expanded into the interior of the retail space, and the attention to detail and enthusiasm for the material made his work stand out in his competition.

The retail space attracts our senses and creates an immersive environment that attracts guests into physical stores. To a certain extent, Christian Halleröd's job is to make the brand three-dimensional, to do a lot of research for each project and brand, and to take into account the "needs" of each specific project. Then create the ultimate visualization with a lot of detail.

In the early stages of conceptual design, finding the right feelings and atmosphere is the most creative part. Halleroed is very interested in natural materials and thinks it is important to find the right materials for the customer. Sustainability plays an important role in many of Calleröd's creative concepts.

Halleroed is inspired by interior design from around the world, from art institutions to private homes. Looking for Japanese designs from the 1980s, I have been looking at restaurants, exhibitions, galleries and the like. His favorite place is not indoors at all, but outside, watching the wildlife of the Stockholm archipelago, Halleröd is a keen fisherman who likes to go out in the spring and fall to find birds.

Today, the store designed by Halleroed has undoubtedly led to the minimalism of Northern Europe, which has made his aesthetics sought after. Christian Halleröd has become a well-known brand in the retail industry, creating designs for Acne Studios, Byredo and Frame Denim.
