The harbor building on the most idyllic piece of land on This island of Nantucket, Massachusetts, is a culmination of design and construction. Under the guidance of the historic District Council, the studio used the existing house as a starting point, using a steep site plan to shape the house into a landscape and creating a series of floors that highlight extraordinary views from high to low heights.

Workshop APD is a New York-based architecture and interior design studio founded in 1999 by founders Matt Berman and Andrew Kotchen.
