To catch the Mediterranean spirit and a relaxed mood, warm materials and attention to detail are the core of this new restaurant on Patacona Beach in Alboraya (Valencia). The design finds its expression in the use of wooden latticework, Valencian ceramic tiles, and metal structures which organize the space and control excess light.

The notion of warmth begins with a wrap of Canadian cedar wood slats that run along the facade and provide a greater sense of intimacy during diner time. Once inside, the rhythm of the slats thickens to cover the bars and benches, enriched in turn with vegetation and organized under large metal structures. These steel frames are distributed throughout more than 600 square meters of terrace to define the different areas and facilitate the option of covering the table zone with a textile system that will protect customers from the sun and the possible rain.

The grey terracotta ceramics embellish the exterior of the kitchen to explain the relationship between gastronomy, the environment, and local products. Next to it, a large bar allows visitors to witness the preparation and completion of the dishes, while a second bar, installed in front of the promenade, is intended to become a more casual service area.

The attention to detail is evident with the selection of furniture in green and earthy colours, and the subtle but distinctive lighting of the Jaima suspension lamps by Marset. On the other hand, a lounge area introduces outdoor sofas and armchairs into the project that invite you to experience the premises from a more relaxed perspective. The result is a welcoming setting in balance with the brown color of the restaurant's interior, where the stained poplar wood lattice system is enriched with curtains to evoke the intimacy of home.
