Deep in the mountains of the Peloponnese in Greece, Manna Hotel—nestled among stone buildings, pine forests, and drifting mist—forms a natural meditative sanctuary. During a peaceful pause in our Yintour Greece journey between mountains and sea, we held a music-based healing session here, allowing the forest to restore both body and mind.

The session was led by Greek healer Nikolaos Unalome, who has long devoted himself to the awakening of body and spirit. Rooted in Ashtanga, Hatha yoga, and pranayama, his practice extends into Thai massage, myofascial therapy, and Ayurveda, with mastery in both Abhyanga and Panchakarma. In recent years, he has focused on vibrational sound healing and is one of the few practitioners worldwide capable of playing the Bilas flat bell, creating an immersive, genre-transcending sound experience through improvisational blending of multiple instruments.

The class unfolded slowly in the morning light. When the first vibration of the Bilas bell expanded through the wooden hall, the air seemed to reorganize—subtle, warm, and almost tangible, drawing everyone instantly into stillness. Centering on “Light Body Activation,” Nikolaos guided participants through layered sound frequencies, breathwork, and energetic alignment, gradually softening both physical tension and emotional defenses. In the final moments of silence, the wind in the forest merged with the fading resonance inside the room, forming an invisible line of energy that recalibrated body and nature. It felt less like a class and more like returning to an inner sanctuary.

When we stepped out of Manna’s stone hall, sunlight fell lightly on the pine needles, and everyone’s steps became lighter, gentler, and somehow more whole. It was not only a session about sound, but a journey back to the self—an immersion in the forest that led us to our point of origin, back into the light.
