Born in Beglium, Tim VranKen founded his eponymous studio in 2010 after completing his studies at THOMAS MORE in Mechelen.Vranken has emerged as a rising star in international design with his handcrafted collectible furniture. Set to dominate 2025's design calendar, he will exhibit at Brussels' BRAFA Art Fair, Milan's Salone del Mobile, and unveil his solo show Moving Fragments at Objects With Narratives in Brussels. His works have graced Design Miami and collaborations with Marvel Studios and Louis Vuitton, while his Ara pool table became a sensation at Collectible design fair.

Vranken's design language thrives on contradictions within minimalism: elegant wooden curves converse with geometric stepped structures, while polished and brushed aluminum embody philosophical reflections on light. His new Fira collection features terrazzo made from North Sea shells shaped into fractured stone bases, complemented by charred ashwood surfaces and four-panel root-veneer cabinets. The Moving Fragments retrospective reveals his five-year journey exploring the tension between fragility and solidity.

Groundbreaking works like the Hermé sculpture and his first Arcus-based daybed mark his evolution from functional furniture to art installations. Through self-developed material formulas, Vranken transforms mundane mediums into surreal textures. His immersive experimentation turns each piece into a narrative vessel, with global gallery representation confirming both collectible value and spatial vitality.
