After studying Architecture at the Henry van de Velde Institute in Antwerp, Benoît Viaene (1971) developed his passion for materials as the main source of inspiration for his work. As an architect, interior designer, and furniture designer, he brings a holistic vision to each project, uniting form, space, and object in a coherent and poetic whole.

Over the years, he felt the need to create furniture with the right identity, which could translate the poetry of his architecture. This was the start of his quest for originality and authenticity, which he combines with his passion for craftsmanship and technique.

Each design by Benoît Viaene is endowed with an atypical beauty that is a translation of know-how, authenticity and refined craftsmanship. Far beyond boundaries and uniformity, his vision is a reaction to our environment, which he believes is bathed in artificial perfection.
