WGNB

Simple yet profound, Joyful yet noble.

Established in 2015, WGNB is a space design studio based in Seoul.

Under the slogan “See the same thing but think differently”, WGNB pursues creating a new perspective through connecting the various inspirations of our daily lives with spatial design. With the new perspective and flexible thoughts, WGNB redefines the boundaries between design that ranges from architecture, furniture to product design. Based on this creative goal, we seek to create a new sense of experience by collaborating with various genres of art.

Today, WGNB now attempts to form fundamental interactions within the space through the studies of context, form, functionality, structure, detail, and materials.

    Design Works

    • Musinsa Standard Seongsu

      They are designed for multifunctional purposes and are easily adaptable for seasonal changes of clothes. The space is designed to be simple, basic and modern, making contrast to different varieties of clothes.
    • Innisfree Flagship Store

      A Korean cosmetic brand, Innisfree opens its new concept store,“The Isle”.  The store aims to offer an experience through brand's product and its own curated beverage and food in a cafe setting.
    • SHLTR Coffee

      Rather than experiencing building itself, we hope every visitors to have precious moments through experiencing every transformation of seasons or times as well as discovering unexpected aspects of surrounding context.
    • PXG Graphite

      WGNB seek to redefine the “black” that has been pursued by PXG through the new term, “GRAPHITE”.
    • Mue Flagship Store

      WGNB used bold colors to create a strong and unique exterior texture for Mue's new flagship store, making it look more like a work of art in motion.

      Musinsa E PTY, a Korean fashion shopping store, is popular among young people for its online aesthetic and ability to accurately grasp fashion trends.

    • SVRN Store Chicago

      The spatial design of the SVRN store began with WGNB interpretation of the SVRN’s brand identity and narrative through the eastern perspective.  
    • Prugio Summit

      WGNB brought their dedication, skill and sensibility to their space design, which closely mirrors how Summit builds a building.
    • UNHEDGED Office

      The design follows the avant-garde and fashionable style of WGNB, hoping to provide a simple and leisure office for office workers who are busy with their daily work.
    • Paoyrus Galleria West

      The designers referred to Dansaekhwa, the monochrome centered Korean painting movement of the 1970s, to envision the 60-square-meter retail space for eyewear.
    • Soldout Musinsa

      Soldout Musinsa is a limited edition sneaker retail store.
    • Juun.J

      Black is the main color of Juun.J. And the most beautiful shadow in the invisible being is also black.
    • Reperk Cafe

      Due to the factors of the building's own conditions, the structure is relatively stiff and cold.
    • XYTS

      Their latest creation, XYTS, is a multi-brand store located in Seoul, South Korea, which combines a variety of textures and unique merchandise installations featuring neon orange finishes.
    • Papyrus Flagship Store

      The design for Nineone Hannam's flagship Papyrus store, which specialises in eyewear, was created in a unique way by the design studio. Both the store glasses and the building are based on the idea of building an ideal structure for different environments, a story about glasses rather than architecture.
    • Chapter One

      WGNB has completed Chapter One, a boutique store in Seoul, South Korea.

      The design of the project is divided into several points, as if telling a story.

      Design studio WGNB's Boon The Shop is designed around topics ranging from "Can't a clothing store be a gallery? this question starts.
    • Gather Coffee

      The cafe looks more like a gallery, an art showroom or a home. This fits the studio's design style: avant-garde, stylish and bold.
    • Tsp737

      It uses black, gray and red as its main colors, and also selects materials of different textures as the main materials of different areas to distinguish space.
    • Zooc Flagship Store

      Zooc is one of their retail projects in South Korea. In the design of the project, they adhere to their unique ideas and design concepts, and make the space into a unique space.

      Comprised of craft studios, galleries and VIP rooms, the floor is made of wood to keep the living space warm.
