UID Architects

Japanese architect Keisuke Maeda, born in 1974 in Hiroshima, graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Koshikan University in 1998 with a major in architecture, and founded UID Architects in 2003. His works always present a clear and clear style, clean and concise, the space as much as possible to reduce unnecessary barriers, interspersed between the block, flow, so that the building and nature maintain a "ambiguous" relationship.

In this era of consumerism and the rapid development of Internet communication, it seems increasingly easy to ignore the communication of physical space, but Maeda insists that the meaning of architecture is to "create an environment", which is conducive to promoting good interaction between people. Therefore, through his works, we can always find the beauty of life forgotten and neglected, trying to pull our eyes from the virtual world of the Internet back to the quiet real life.

According to Keisuke Maeda, tailored design for different projects in different regions is conducive to creating "good and appropriate" designs for the people in the project location, building effective connections between people, stimulating their spontaneity and identity, and making the design more positive and positive social significance. As an architect, he attaches great importance to flexible approaches and strategies to respond to the positions and considerations of different actors and build trusting relationships in the community.
