Project Mark

Through design, Project Mark aim to transform lives, move beyond temporary trends, and explore distinctive values and classic of the era.

Project Mark is an interior design studio based in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 2020 by Jae-hong Son, Ji-seung Yang, and Ji-hyung Song, who are alumni of the same university.

Project Mark draws inspiration from the essential elements of its surroundings. Through design, they aim to transform lives, move beyond temporary trends, and explore distinctive values and classic of the era.

Based on the philosophy of "the atmosphere of space," every project at Project Mark is approached with meticulous research on shape, texture, color, and mood, aiming to create unique scenes in each project that encompass both functionality and aesthetic elements.

    Design Works

    • KIWA

Project Mark tried to project the image of upright and deep "white" into the brand and space.
    • Imok Smoke Dining

Upon passing through the main entrance of the building, the initial sight of Imok is a rusted iron door reminiscent of an underground bunker.
    • Variegata Restaurant

Project Mark also simplifies the shapes of the structure and furniture, keeping the design simple but juxtaposing the high with the low, the large with the small, to create a variety of configurations.
    • Pepperoni Button

Inspired by the surrounding basic elements, Project Mark designed the project with the concept of "abstract spatialization" and presented a unique scene through careful study of functional and aesthetic elements such as form, texture, color and atmosphere.
    • Kyungsung Coffee

Like the brand name 'Gyeongseong', we wanted to express the harmonious beauty between the new and the old.
    • Lakuen Restaurant

The ideation that was inspired by the old alleys and antique shops in Insa-dong is linked to designs with straight lines and texture of the space.
