Pitsou Kedem Architects

Pitsou Kedem Architects was founded in 2000 and now consists of 11 architects. The studio design covers a wide range of projects with a wide range of complexity. From the interior design of restaurants, shops and living spaces to the design of private homes.

Pitsou Kedem founded the studio after graduating from the British Institute of Building Union. Influenced by the concept of modernist architect Mies van der Rohe. The studio's design language and concepts are based on modernist styles. His work covers the values and principles of the times and the design philosophy of the modernist movement.

In its infancy, the studio participated in an ongoing dialogue with the basic principles of minimalism: reduction and moderation, providing clean lines for each element, separating structural materials into part of the process, designed to avoid insignificant decorations, to emphasize Refine the space and find the essence of space.

Pitsou Kedem has a strong architectural concept that seeks absolute truth and pursues the purity of form and shape for a comfortable and serene space.

This constant pursuit of simplicity leads to complex and precise elements, which in turn contribute to the uniqueness of its design. Most projects are characterized by simple geometric, rectangular and repetitive shapes, giving the structure and space precise and interconnected appearance. Different from the traditional Israeli architectural style, Pitsou's design is good at creating a light, soft atmosphere in pure white, grey and black.

Over the past few years, studios have been looking for new materials and adopting newer methods to enable them to enter new areas beyond recognition and boundaries. The combination of different materials, different architectural and design languages, and even different design schools has created an amazing visual experience in many projects.
