Masquespacio

Masquespacio is an award-winning Spanish creative design consultancy founded in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse. Two disciplines of interior design and marketing create unique innovation concepts through unique methods to create custom brands and interior projects.

Ana Milena Hernández is the founder and creative director of Masquespacio. Born in Bogota, a city in Colombia on August 28, 1982, she began to participate in decorative activities from her mother. In 2001, at the age of 18, she decided to venture to Europe to come to Spain. There she worked as the first year of window dressing and was responsible for the sale of the Maximoda store.

However, she was fascinated by the world of interior design and decided to start studying interior design at the prestigious design school in Valencia Barreira. After finishing her studies, working in an architectural studio for a while, she quickly realized that she wanted to develop her own style. Her parents' entrepreneurial spirit has always influenced her, and she has unveiled MasQuespacio without any doubt.

Ana Milena Hernández is passionate about design and everything related to it. Because her design is far more than employment, but a way of life. Enables her to take care of every detail of her project and find the best solution for each client without losing focus on distinguishing their brand and competitors through innovative concepts.

Christophe Penasse is the co-founder and, in fact, the marketing director of Masquespacio, who likes to create new concepts for clients and pay more attention to the design and identity of each brand. In addition to passionate design, he likes everything related to marketing. Currently, in addition to his work at Masquespacio, he is the editor of the design media blog delDiseño created by Masquespacio.

In 2016, Masquespacio won the “Massimo Dutti New Value” award from the Spanish “Architectural Digest” and the “Wave of the Future” award in the US hotel design, which was recognized internationally by professional design, fashion and lifestyle media. They have worked on projects in Norway, the United States, Germany and Spain.
