Esrawe Studio

Esrawe Studio, a multi-disciplinary collaborative architecture firm, was founded in 2003 by renowned Mexican architect Hector Esrawe. It focuses on furniture, product and interior design, as well as architecture, public space installation art and museum design. Since the establishment of the firm, its unique design production for the industry is well known, and in the international awards.

The firm is composed of experienced industrial designers, architects, production technicians and graphic designers, and the collaboration of different types of work ensures that every project is presented at its best, from concept to exquisite details. The creative idea behind the project always runs through the whole process of design and construction, and is constantly updated and improved.

Hector Esrawe, born in 1968 in Mexico City, graduated from the University of Ibero-America (UIA) in 1992 and became an industrial designer. He was a professor of design at UIA from 1997 to 2001 before becoming design Director at CENTRO Study House, where he established a degree in industrial design.

Throughout the design, Hector Esrawe sought to create a new dialogue between the building and the site, connecting the user with the surrounding environment. This natural view of design drives the evolution of design itself, which also stems from a deep understanding of people's basic physiological and emotional needs at a particular moment or in a certain environment.

In addition, he has always maintained a multidisciplinary collaboration and practice, which has enabled him to work more actively and deeply with designers, urban planners, artists, museum curators and set designers from other architectural studios. This passion led him to become a co-founder of EWE, VISSIO and MASA, organizations that aim to improve and evolve the Mexican collecting world. He is also the founding partner of perfume brands Xinu and Casa del Agua.
