David Chipperfield

Design is a soul. It should think more deeply about the influence that local culture brings to people, not just shape the culture.

Founded in 1985, David Chipperfield has offices in London, Berlin, Milan and Shanghai. Focus on international cultural, residential and commercial projects, providing comprehensive architectural and interior design, master planning, product and furniture design services to the public and private sectors.

Born on December 18, 1953, David Chipperfield has been a architect, designer and professor for decades and is a leading architect in the UK and the world. Since 1985, he has hosted David Chipperfield Architects, an award-winning architectural firm.

David Chipperfield studied at the Kingston School of Art (Cashton University) and the British AA Architectural Association. After completing his studies, he worked in the architectural firm of Norman Foster, Richard Rogers and Douglas Stephen, and then set up his own firm.

David Chipperfield is known for its light, minimalist design and special expertise in museum design and renovation. His works never pursue an over-exaggerated personality, but instead integrate into the environment as simple as possible, becoming part of the environment, through the presentation of targeted emotions and ideas, to explain the foresight trends for future homes. Let people appreciate the logic and structure, but also be infected by the poetry of space.
