Carr Design

“I’m fascinated by subtlety in design. When you put all the subtleties together, the whole can be very strong.”--Sue Carr

Founded in 1972 by award-winning designer Sue Carr, Carr Design is one of Australia's most influential architectural and interior design companies. For more than 40 years, they have maintained a leadership position in design practice and thinking.

In the past forty years of operation, Sue Carr has experienced many obstacles and challenges, and is often encouraged by all parties to design interiors that appeal to models. But it is through her belief that good design can have a positive impact on the surrounding environment and constantly resist the fashion trend. For her, each project is a new customer, a new opportunity, a new location, a new life.

Sue Car's work stems from a unique collection of ideas and science. Focus on constantly exploring new possibilities and ideas through technology and guiding them by avoiding trends and fashion expert lenses. For the initial idea, Sue attributed reading and immersive travel to the non-hierarchical approach of studio space. Sue modestly works with her team to promote learning and education; guidance and support throughout the interior design industry.
