Beautell Arquitectos

Architecture is also the sustenance of human beings on this earth. It's not just a body, the process of building it is a spirit.

Beautell Arquitectos is an architecture firm based in Spain. It was founded in 1975 by Fernando Beautell and is currently run by Fernando Beautell and Alejandro Beautell. He leads a multidisciplinary team specialising in architecture and planning of different sizes. The firm focuses on residential architecture, tourism and landscaping. According to their architectural concept, on the one hand, architecture should be a contact with space and contemporary forms, and on the other hand, a deep respect for the role of tradition in architectural culture.

Alejandro Beautell has carried forward their design spirit in the renovation of old houses and buildings. On the basis of preserving the tradition, it tells the memory of the old building, keeping the traces eroded by the time. Often this design spirit builds a bridge between the traditional and the modern, but the influence and significance of those historic buildings will be passed on to future generations.

In a way, architecture is also the sustenance of human beings on this earth. It's not just a body, the process of building it is a spirit. To fully embody it, the architects used timeless but austere materials to show their respect for the building in their hearts. Alejandro Beautell tends to preserve buildings with a sense of age, and their designs fully exploit their historical charm.
