Waon House is a leisure hotel located in Jeju, South Korea. The project was designed to create a space that can provide a complete treatment. The local name Hamdeok derives from this and the good first impression the house made, due to the many good deeds done by Mrs Ham in the past. The wonders offered by the stone house captured people's hearts like love at first sight. Sharing good wishes with friends, new interpretations are added to the space to complete the healing and healing theme called "Waon".

With a cup of calming tea, a warm bath to warm the body, a sauna to warm one up, a calming bath in an herb garden that will heal the mind, Waon is a great place to satisfy anyone's desire for a proper rest. The project proceeded happily while seeking the original beauty of the house without destroying the existing stone house environment.

Waon has succeeded in preserving the simplicity and appearance of the old house, warming guests like grandma's hands. The two comfort homes and healing homes represent the living culture of Jeju Island. "Nang-gan" and two stone houses evoking local memories were restored to reveal the characteristics of thatched huts on Jeju Island.

To emphasize the concept of therapy, the entire building of the therapy room is designed as a bathroom. The softness and warmth of water; Through the smells of earth and stone and trees; The garden outside the window; All of these atypical concepts are elements of Waon relaxation and healing. Comfort Home is designed as a peaceful family space where you can relax. The bed, kitchen, living room and bathroom are completed as an open structure in the same space. The old rafters, calm beige hues of furniture and lighting bring an unusual experience through the designer's sensuous interpretation.
