Between the fast pace of the city and the desire for a serene home, this 222 m² apartment in São Paulo emerges as a space of transition. More than just a place to live, it was conceived to evoke the atmosphere of a house, exploring natural textures and architectural solutions that embrace the senses and redefine the experience of inhabiting.

Upon entering, the architecture establishes a shift in atmosphere, softening the city’s intensity. The entrance hall, clad in a mineral texture in earthy tones, acts as a contemplative antechamber, preparing the eye and the senses for the spatial experience that follows. In the social area, the integration of spaces is defined by handcrafted clay flooring, chosen precisely to bring the atmosphere of a house into the apartment, evoking the earth and creating an immediate sense of warmth and comfort. This element became the conceptual foundation of the project, guiding the selection of materials and colors throughout.

The kitchen and dining area were designed as the protagonists of the space, reflecting the couple’s lifestyle and their wish to host friends and family. Custom cabinetry in sucupira wood contrasts with the warmth of natural ceramic finishes, while made-to-measure joinery ensures clarity of proportions and a continuous visual rhythm.
