Tadao Ando is a Japanesearchitect who won the Pritzker Prize in 1995. Tadao Ando was born in Osaka,Japan on September 13, 1941. His life is legendary. He was a professional boxerbefore becoming an architect, and then a professional architect without propertraining. Use the prize money earned from boxing matches to travel to theUnited States, Europe, Africa and Asia, as well as to observe unique buildings.

As a generation of master architects, Tadao Ando left a unique and great vitality for the world. His works and the spirit behind them are eternal and irrepressible.. In 1995, Mr. Ando won the Pritzker Prize, architecture's highesthonor, by donating $100,000 to orphans after the 1995 Kobe earthquake.
