In early 2018, Studio Lawahl, a design Studio founded by Joanna Laven, received a request from its clients to complete a complete renovation of Apartment S. When she first visited the apartment, she was immediately struck by the beautiful architecture and the many original details that had been preserved. However, the use of the apartment was not adapted to the needs of the client. For example, the kitchen is probably the most important room for most people, and despite the fact that the apartment is over 200 square meters, it is located on a windowless corridor. The client needs a complete renovation. As well as more bathrooms to restore and enhance the original character of the space.

Clients are open to major changes and suggestions, as well as keen to get started quickly and set an effective timetable. Joanna Laven and her team couldn't resist the challenge, and the project went full steam ahead a few weeks after the first meeting. While they were working on the floor plans and fixed interiors, they also made a style of trim panels for the new furniture.
