LUMA is a boutique residence of British developer Argent, consisting of 61 unique apartments, located in the heart of Kings Cross, London's top landmark mansion. LUMA was designed by the award-winning architect Squire & Partners, and the interior design was in charge of Conran and Partners. It was named after the central position of light in its design concept, responding to the unique location of the building between the two urban green spaces.       As one of London's largest and most exciting redevelopment projects, Kings Cross is described as a symbol of London's industrial past and creative present-both of which have inspired Argent's new residential development, LUMA.LUMA is located between Lewis Cubitt Park and Jellicoe Gardens. Squire & Partners designed a striking residence that respects the surrounding natural environment and connects with emerging cultural and creative communities. In order to pay tribute to the former industrial features of Kings Cross Station, its form is expressed as a pair of stepped warehouse-style buildings with distinct levels of facade.       The combination of patterns inspired by convergent railway tracks and simulating the dappled light generated by tree canopies forms an organic pattern that is used to decorate lattice screens, bas-relief aluminum and concrete panels, which can adjust the light and the light inside and outside the field of view. The series of bronze eight-shaped bays and striking geometric balconies undulate on the facade, blurring the boundary between inside and outside.       Murray Levinson, Partner of Squire & Partners, said: “We are very pleased to be appointed by Argent to develop this new boutique residence.
