In an age eager for identity, the cultural phenomenon of fashion can be interpreted as a vehicle for promoting individuality, enabling individuals to shape their own identities in a variety of ways. KoAi, the brand of Anugrah Chandra, has Its roots in India and pays homage to Rajasthan's traditional hand-dyeing technique, Dabu.

Resonating with the brand's ideology, Portal92's goal was to create a soft background, punctuated by repetitive modular details, throughout the project, like a Dabu print. These modules take the form of various functional elements while bringing softness and warmth to the textured canvas. This iconic language of elements creates a stitch between space and the brand itself.

The facade presents a stark white volume carved out of a void, nestled harmoniously in the shade of neem trees. The "ribbon window" that extends and wraps around the corner liberates people from the expected sense of structure, hoping that it will not be seen as "fascist" but possibly "cancelled".

Walking past the chiseled stone entrance, guests are ushered into a sun-drenched island unit. The details of the louvres are exquisitely crafted to conceal and soften the structural components. Natural light caress the interior through a series of wooden columns, carefully choreographed to provide a soothing and tactile experience.
