On the border of Pflersch and Wipptal, a little above the centre of Gossensaß village, House G was designed by Pedevilla Architects for a young family. The overall structure is primarily vertical, along steep terrain, and is made of insulated lightweight concrete, a material that meets all requirements and is resilient to the harsh conditions it is exposed to. The tower shape of the house not only occupies a small footprint, but also creates ground level entrances on both the lowest and highest floors.

The structure of the low-energy house, certified as KlimaHaus A Nature, is rooted in the soil where it is located. Being built of mineral materials, it is remarkably durable. The boulder's 75cm thick walls provide protection and security for the home. The precise openings allow for targeted views of the surrounding mountains, while the deep walls become their own spatial element, allowing residents to sit, rest and observe in their daily lives. At the heart of the house, the different levels are accessed by a compact spiral staircase.

The top floor reaches a height of 6 meters, forming an open living and resting area that extends under the wide overhanging roof. Surrounding Windows provide an unobstructed panoramic view. Orientation, embeddedness and good views from the spacious terrace create the impression of an unspoiled place to live in the hills.

Natural, down-to-earth materials feature in the home's interior image, creating a down-to-earth and family-like atmosphere. The lower three floors are made of noble materials to create a neutral, bright and unobtrusive environment. The roof space, on the other hand, opens up in a particularly clear and powerful way. Brass and handmade glass matching the colour of concrete complement the material tones and give the home the durability needed.
