Pawel Kaczynski was born in Warsaw, Poland. For over 30 years he has been designing and making jewelry. The individual nature of his work is the result of years of experimentation with goldsmithing techniques, the search for new properties of metals and individual technical solutions. His works are not only the collections of jewelry but also an attempt of creative expression in jewelry as a field of art.  

Pawel Kaczynski has been pursuing jewellery design since 1990. In 1992 he joined the Union of Polish Sculptors and in 1995 the Association of Jewellery Artists. Jewellery is his principal focus but he also pursues printmaking and sculpture. His jewellery collections reflect his continuous pursuit of new means of expression.

Pawel Kaczynski is one of five members of the Six Group, very active on the Polish scene of art jewellery, making one-off pieces and promoting the experimental, fine art of jewellery, often with a remarkable sense of irony and humour. He designs for galleries and private collectors in Poland and abroad. He took part in over a hundred exhibitions and international competitions of jewelry. His works are in the collections of art museums in many countries.
