Design firm Nebihe Cihan Studio is excited to share its latest project: Campden Hill Court Residence，a sophisticated London pied-à-terre that showcases designer flair for timeless elegance and full-scale planning. Rooted in Cihan’s signature application of high-end finishes and quality craftsmanship, this stunning project is a clear demonstration of the designer’s versatility, with rustic accents and globally sourced vintage items merging with cutting edge details in an exciting switch up of the studio’s prevailing style.

In this extensive revamp of a Victorian residence, previously untouched since the 1960s, the London- and New York-based designer’s mastery in exhaustive remodels comes to life and is merged with a fresh and contemporary riff on a country-style aesthetic.This included managing the architectural challenges of working with an old building that dates to 1900, as well as the logistics of converting the overall layout. Designer shifted their vision to consider more elements of the structural design, with equal emphasis on the internal architecture of the space as on the interior design. This allowed they to apply some creative thinking deep into the bones of the property, beyond the visuals, to develop an impactful home that not only works practically but exudes a sense of comfort and luxury.

It’s all brought together with the quality materials and bespoke finishes that are the trademark of Cihan’s designs. A rustic ambience is introduced via a pared back, tonal palette, where putty browns, moss greens and light fawn are applied to walls in limewash paint by Bauwerk.Plush custom-made furniture by Nebihe Cihan Studio, ribbed panelling and the addition of grand arched doorways further emphasise the apartment’s modernised farmhouse aesthetic and gently nod to the heritage of the building. Elsewhere, spaces are enriched by globally sourced vintage pieces.

The team manoeuvred to land on the final result:a fresh and contemporary ode to traditional expressions, where warm, timeless qualities are underscored by the distinct sense of luxury and sophistication that designer always strive for in their work. The finished apartment is not just a chic education in how a pure and subdued farmhouse style can be successfully paired with modern city living, but also an explicit statement of Nebihe Cihan’s evolution as a rising international designer.
