This home in Los Angeles California belongs to comedian Sebastian Maniscalco and his artist wife Lana Gomez. Wearstler and Gomez have been connected for a number of years; Wearstler in fact has a large canvas behind her desk at her LA studio.

Like Gomez’s work the background palette here is colourful, textural and bold. Using what most would consider to be quite a traditional or classical wallpapering technique of Cannon/ Bullock papers, Wearstler here combines them in a way which is dynamic and lively.
