A private residence in Lake Oswego, USA, designed by local Design studio Kaemingk Design. Giving the project a soulful modern identity was the goal of the design studio. In the project, the design studio used natural materials, luxury furniture and interesting artwork as important details to create the soul of the house. The whole design is in neutral tones, which are key to creating a serene atmosphere.

The use of similar materials or matching details in different parts of the house provides a nice coherence to the whole concept. In the living room, more furniture is used than in the rest of the house, but the coherence between the materials and the small details catch the eye. The transparent curtains keep the air fresh and let the space breathe just as Kaemingk had wanted it to at first. While more objects are used in the living room, the rest of the house, such as the kitchen or bathroom, is much simpler.
