Golden Design, an interior Design studio based in Melbourne, Australia, was founded in November 2013 by founders Kylie Dorotic and Alicia McKimm, formerly We Are Huntly. The studio's design Bridges the gap between architecture and visual art to create truly unique designs.
Monfort House, located among the dunes adjacent to the National Park in Blairgowrie, Australia, was designed to celebrate the coastline and surrounding natural elements. Under the leadership of Inform Melbourne, GOLDEN curated professional art and furniture for the residence.
Montfort House is an exercise in rugged luxury with pieces selected for longevity, comfort, and quiet.
Dark, earthy tones are incorporated to respond to the natural landscape and complement the external dark faced concrete bagged brick which is internally prominent. Softness and colour are achieved through the use of natural materials. The main living zone enjoys both sunrise and sunset views where speciality Kettal outdoor furniture is placed to suit the harsh coastal environment.
