Founded in 2019 by Natasza Grzeskiewicz and Tomás Fernandes, Further Ther is a collector-based design practice and brand based in Lisbon, Portugal. It’s the resulting confrontation between object language and human sense. With a focus on material properties and craftsmanship, they create exceptional limited-volume tableware and furniture using a transparent process. Their mutual connection drives a conscious and dedicated approach, giving exclusivity to the buyer and uniqueness to the craftsman.

Tomás use of natural oils and waxes, along with the Yakisugi technique, a Japanese method of wood preservation through controlled charring, reflects a deep respect for both the material and the environment. Conversely, Natasza’s contributions, complement the collection by infusing it with a sense of natural harmony. Her preference for unglazed, textured surfaces adds an element of raw authenticity to the pieces. They each focus on different materials, but come together to form a unified and cohesive body of work.
