Kumoto is a tribute to the trajectory and passion of its founder, after the success of the Tori Tori restaurants and in search of an intimate experience, Esrawe Studio developed a restaurant with few diners specialized in traditional Japanese recipes.

Taking the Bento Box as a reference, a portion of homemade food arranged in a tray of wooden boxes, the walls and the ceiling generate an enveloping grid made of sawn oak veneer. In the background the sushi bar framed with raw steel and brass plates creates a theatrical quality.

In the central axis of the space, a large table made of natural steel plates exhibits a variety of objects such as sake containers, collection vessels and others for more daily use such as tableware used in the operation.

Around this table the diners are distributed in furniture with a robust and simple expression of oak wood and steel designed especially for this project.
