Under this premise, the interior spaces have been arranged to maximize functionality and aesthetics while always respecting the building's identity. Upon entering through the main entrance, the original layout is preserved, with the kitchen located near the entrance, becoming the heart of the baserri and, above all, a space for family conversation.

The first floor is organized around the central courtyard, featuring a large library that wraps around it, with the wooden structure as its focal point. On one side, there are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and on the other, the master bedroom with its two bathrooms. The second floor extends the library, offering an additional space for introspection and connection with the surroundings. The kitchen, situated in its original location near the entrance, remains the soul of the baserri—a warm and welcoming space where words and stories flow. This detail highlights the focus on preserving the communal and familial spirit characteristic of these structures.

The building has been restored as if it were an authentic sculpture, guided by thoughtful freedom of action with a dual objective: creating spaces within the building while preserving its identity. Every detail of Goenetxe has been meticulously designed and executed, from the stone walls to the wooden finishes, maintaining its historical character while adapting to modern standards and respecting traditional construction techniques. This project stands as an example of how architecture can honor the past while meeting the demands of the present.
