       谈苏州,必谈园林。Seesaw Coffee,这间起于上海的咖啡品牌,在苏州这座城市该如何实现在地化?地处空间局促的现代商场,又该怎样将庞大的园林体系于一个紧凑的室内空间作出巧妙的转换?
     Talking about Suzhou, you must talk about gardens. Seesaw Coffee, the coffee brand from Shanghai, how to achieve localization in the city of Suzhou? In a modern shopping mall with a space-constrained space, how to make a clever conversion of a huge garden system in a compact indoor space?
       Nota 建筑设计工作室对此进行了一次“造园”实践,试图探讨园林在当代语境下的可能性,并在材料、功能和园林意象之间找到彼此的连接点。
      The Nota Architectural Design Studio conducted a “gardening” practice to explore the possibilities of gardens in a contemporary context and to find a connection between materials, functions and garden imagery.
       轴测图由主入口 Seesaw 字样的木质牌匾引入,呈现在观者面前的是由蓝底水磨石构成的“荷池”,池上横二“桥”,一为收银小台,二作咖啡吧台;吧台由定制的夹胶玻璃通体构成,因光线和就坐角度的不同呈现色彩与“水感”的变化;池面上散置桌凳,拟作“池萍”。环水白底水磨石作“沙地”,以园林中常见的建筑形态为原型,就四周墙面依次布置“游廊”、“角亭”、“重楼”,“湖石”、“水榭”、“半轩”,“水榭与边上的小轩,皆取半室,’一大一小,宾主分明’”(陈从周)。景观亦取其意象,选取符合空间气质、生存条件的植物品种,植于廊亭榭轩之间;以灰色水泥纤维板作“叠石”“假山”,砌成货架。
      The axon drawing is introduced by the wooden plaque of the main entrance Seesaw. In front of the viewer is the "Holly Pool" made up of blue terrazzo, the second bridge on the pool, one for the cash register, the second for the coffee bar; It consists of a custom-made laminated glass body, which shows the change of color and “water sensation” due to the difference of light and sitting angle; the table and bench are scattered on the pool surface and are intended to be “Chi Ping”. The water-and-white terrazzo is used as a “sand”, and the common architectural forms in the garden are used as prototypes. The “walls”, “corner pavilions”, “heavy buildings”, “lake stones” and “water rafts” are arranged in order. "Hao Xuan", "Water Margin and Xiaoxuan on the side, all take half a room, 'one big and one small, the guest and the master are distinct'" (Chen Cong Zhou). The landscape also takes its image, selects plant varieties that meet the space temperament and living conditions, and plantes them between the pavilions and porch; the gray cement fiber slabs are used as “stacked stones” and “false mountains” to form shelves.
      The venue is located at the corner of the mall. The square plane is folded into a glass curtain wall, which is divided into indoor and outdoor. The outdoor grass and trees are borrowed into the “garden” by means of scenery, which also becomes an extension of the landscape. The underground entrance of the mall came up and turned into a "porch". The powder wall in the veranda was separated, and the doorway and window hole were leaked. The ubiquitous scenery was incorporated into the viewer's sight through the frame.       空间内每一个角落看出去都如同一幅园林画,人在动,景亦在变,人和物,互为画中景。
      Every corner of the space is seen as a garden painting. People are moving, the scenery is changing, people and things are the middle of each other.
      During the day, the shadows are obliquely in, and the 榭, 轩, and 廊 are clear, and the individual senses are changed from time to time; the natural light at night is reduced, and the overlapping shadows appear. The light filters through the custom metal mesh panels, and the mottled “tree shadows” and the plants under the landscape lights form a rich layer. The high window of the "heavy building" (deconstruction room) reveals a quiet atmosphere, bringing infinite imagination of the invisible deep space. The daylight shadows of the daylight changed with the time, and a virtual album about the garden was built.
