Flooat is a project that Labotory has proceeded from naming to the branding and to the space design.It is a hybrid space that is functionally interchangeable between day and night, being used as a coffee and bakery during the day and a bar at night. The space is dominated by dark blue, which contrasts with the rough granite to create a chic Oriental charm. Labotory proposed a variety of seating forms in order to arrange the seating according to the degree of natural light required for each space and make efficient use of the space.

The exposed side and the layered side of the ceiling plays a part as the layer of the eave of the Eastern architecture. It has become an important design language for connecting two spaces separated by the stairs based in the middle.Hereby, it created a space with a courtyard rather than a space separated into two and enabled to share people who enjoy wine with people who enjoy coffee and those who share a private space of communication.

To the many people that visit, Labotory hope Flooat is a brand that enables people to feel not only the transitions of day and night but also the various chic of the East upon every visit.
