Project Description: The countryside retreat is nestled within a forested area and features an open terrace, spanning a total area of 70 square meters. Client’s request: to completely redevelop the existing space, changing its layout by zoning the area, carrying out modern repairs, furnishing the house and developing an overall stylistic concept.

The project included a redesign, renovation, lighting renovation, as well as the selection of furniture, textiles and decorative elements. The main goal was to create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere of a country house — a house designed for reading, exploring art and displaying unique design products and ceramics.

The interior uses natural tones, pleasant-to-touch textures and high-quality materials. A distinctive feature of the house is the low ceilings. To solve this problem, the walls and ceiling of the living room were made in a single color, which created an effect of wholeness. Additional accent details, such as vertical lines in the doorway, a large-scale painting and a large ceiling lamp, enhance the space. A fireplace and built-in shelving were used to add warmth and comfort to the interior, and a full-length mirror was well placed to visually expand the room.

The home features a variety of lighting sources—including a floor lamp, table lamps, and bedside lights—that create a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evenings. The kitchen is both highly functional and stylish, equipped with all essential elements. Its focal point is a round dining table, complemented by a striking felt pendant light above it. The highlight of the dining area is a cozy relaxation nook by the window, featuring floor cushions with ethnic motifs and a handcrafted suar wood table. The bedroom, designed in soft pastel tones, fosters a sense of tranquility and relaxation. Despite the compact space, a dedicated area was successfully allocated for a small yet functional wardrobe.

A unique feature of the master bathroom is a compact sauna, adding an element of comfort and luxury. Every piece of decor was carefully selected to align with the project’s overall aesthetic, spatial proportions, and the homeowners’ personal tastes. The result is a beautifully curated and inviting retreat, offering a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The homeowners adore their sanctuary, and I am delighted to have brought our unique vision to life.
